With an odd number of 21 players, we had four games of Pairs and one game of Triples with Geoff freeman playing lead and second in the Triples match.
In a fairly close match, Mark Dwyer and Ron Hornery played Guy Ellery and Gordon Dickson.
The lead changed hands a number of times and with two ends to play Guy and Gordon just had the upper hand, leading 21-20 but Mark and Ron had the better of the last two ends to run out winners 25-21.

- Les Kent and Ray Jones got up against Graham Dixon and Mal Porter, 22-17
- John Ward and Colin Miller were too strong for Bruce Orr and Trevor Harvey
- Rob Tinker and John Watson had a comfortable win against Greg Howlett and Greg Huggins
- In the Triples match, Rob Irving and Geoff Freeman (playing two roles) defeated Col Hayward, John Carr and Bob Freeman 28-21.
- John Ward and Col Miller were the lucky Rink but they couldn't bring up the magic No. 7 and the Jackpot is safe for another week.
Saturday, June 29
With the wind blowing a gale, in very cold conditions, most sensible Bowlers stayed home but eight brave souls ventured on to the green for two games of Pairs.
However, to prove they still had some sense, both matches were cut short.
Dave Johnson and Lorraine Baker handled the conditions better than Col Hayward and Graham Dixon and called it a day after fourteen ends with the score at 17-7.
The other match was a lot closer and after sixteen ends Rob Irving and John Watson claimed victory, 13-12 against John Ward and Bob Freeman.
