A grade men: Magpies Black were too strong for an understrength Rovers side winning their match 7-3. Doubles were scored by Josh Kearney, Will Cassell and Conor Dwarte with Andrew Finn also converting for Magpies.

Billy Payne scored twice for Rovers with Aaron Huppatz in his usual good form in the circle also scoring a nice goal. Best for Magpies were Conor Dwarte, Will Searl and Josh Kearney with Aaron Huppatz and Zac Redfern strong for Rovers. Magpies White defeated Cellar Crows 4-2 in a close match.
Glenn Johnstone wound back the clock scoring a hat-trick of goals with Daryn Tanswell also scoring for Magpies. Craig Kelly and Brad Ashton both found the back of the net for Cellars. Best for Magpies were Grady Magill, Dan Wilson and Glenn Johnstone with Luke Swindle a stand-out on the field for Cellars.
A grade women: Rovers Black put together a good team performance to take their match against Magpies 2-1. Abigail Simpson converted a penalty corner to give Rovers an early 1-0 lead. Rovers extended their lead when Teegan Rodgers pounced on a rebound in the circle and made no mistake in finding the back of the net.
Magpies struck back late in the second half after Sommer Tanswell finished off after good lead up work by Meghan Searl. Abigail Simpson was best on ground with an outstanding defensive performance with Wendy Huppatz and Chloe Carty also earning points.
Savannah Draper and Peta Fagan both played well for Magpies. Rovers Gold defeated PHI 4-1 in a strong performance. Louise Hawken was in outstanding form scoring a hat-trick with Merry Unger also converting for Rovers. Abigail Simpson scored a nice goal for PHI.
Best for Rovers were Louise Hawken and Louise Edwards with Helen McGee, Cherie Simpson and Olivia Noakes all playing well for PHI.
B grade men: Middleton had a dominant performance against Cellar Crows Black winning 6-0. David Sherritt and Evan Doering both scored two goals each with Tim Welsh and Jack Buerckner also converting.
Strong performances were had by Jack Buerckner, Barry Reeves, Will Blunt and Tobey Thorne for Middleton with Nick Gibson and Chris Hoy both playing well for Cellars. Magpies White defeated Marist 3-0. Trent Thomson scored two nice goals with Jordan Grosvenor also scoring.
Best for Magpies were Royce Simpson and Jordan Grosvenor with Tristan Hanstock and Scott Morrissey putting in good performances for Marist. Cellar Crows were full of running and defeated Magpies Black 7-0. Two hat-tricks from Craig Kelly and Brad Ashton were the highlights of the match with Dane Hendry also adding to the total.
Best for Cellars were Hugo Fenton and Dane Hendry with Michael Somers, Graeme Somers, Lachlan Plummer and Mitch Finn all playing well for Magpies. Rovers Gold made the most of their opportunities to defeat Magpies Academy 3-2 in an entertaining match.
To the surprise of all out there, Aaron Huppatz strapped on the pads and played an outstanding match in goals to lead his side to victory. Youngsters, Ryan Mackenzie (2) and Josh Glasheen scored for Rovers with Andrew Rice and Dave MacGregor scoring for Magpies.
Best for Rovers in their victory were Cooper Huppatz, Josh Glasheen, Ryan Mackenzie and Aaron Huppatz with Lachlan Plummer and Dave MacGregor strong for Magpies.
B grade women: Star Budgies fought hard to earn a 1-0 victory over Magpies Black. Lauren Hutchinson scored a fine goal to give her side the victory. Emily Blackstock was best on ground with Rachael Kelly also playing well for Budgies.
Ella MacGregor, Meghan Searl and Louise Witherow all played well for Magpies. Nothing could separate Cellar Crows and Middleton Eagles with the match resulting in a 1-1 draw. Elissa Gillingham was first to score for Cellars but Danielle McManus was on the spot to level for Eagles.
Strong performances were had by Danielle McManus and Ashley Baker for Eagles with Molly Orr, Cindy Nutley and Kylie Blackstock all playing well for Cellars. Middleton Coachman defeated Marist 3-2 in a very tight match.
Goals for Middleton were shared between Megan Hornery, Olivia Noakes and Cherie Simpson with Fran Dixon and Jessica Scott converting for Marist. Cherie Simpson had another great match for Middleton and was well supported by Tracie Sams and Olivia Noakes. Jordan Moody, Kelley Westcott and Fran Dixon all played well for Marist. Rovers Black just edged out Magpies White 1-0 in a close encounter.
Tiffany Steel has been playing well after many years away from hockey and was on the spot to knock in a nice goal for Rovers. Best for Rovers were Codie Sense and Rachel Hoy with Sarah Smith, Tiffani Townsend and Shianne Quinn strong for Magpies.
Rovers Gold defeated Magpies Academy 9-1 in strong team performance. Magpies were without a goal-keeper for the first half and Rovers took full advantage. Youngster, Josie Jones, was in fire in the circle knocking in four goals with Lara Piercy adding two and Chloe Carty, Annabelle Dyer and Jo-Anne Lyons scoring one each. Sophie Wright scored a great goal for Magpies.
Chloe Carty was in outstanding form for Rovers with Josie Jones and Jo-Anne Lyons also playing well. Sharlee Wild and Karen Ross both played well for Magpies.
