Winners were Ron Murray,Dave Willcockson and Allan Affleck.
Major Pairs Graham Turner and Tony Peisley won 23-19 to Peter Job and Peter Creith, Wally Grant and Kevin Hynds defeated Geoff Leonard and Mike Phillips 23-16.
Major singles Steve Frame won over Marty Fitzpatrick.Minor singles saw Lea Tanks defeat Dave Law.
On Wednesday, March 6 we had 18 bowlers play, with Janice Robinson, Brad Jones (Eugowra ), and Tony Latter winning 15+5.
Runners up, Maria Willcockson, Mark Francis, Mike Valentine W14+8.
Marble nine came out with the margins 3,5,8, so jackpot is safe again and being $300 and $156 for next week.
Thursday night power pairs are on again 5.30pm for a 6pm start Friday night raffles badge draw $700 and joker $1100 ,happy hour 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

No 5s won over Condobilin 10-0 ,Steve frame won 23-21over Darren Seton.Luke Ramsay won 18-13 over P Brassnett and Graham Fliedner won 27-15over Mick Waller.
Nos 6 lost to Eugowra 1-9 Col Boehm won 25-17 special effort with Mike Phillips getting ill and playing with three men.Kevin Hynds lost 7-27 to K Hodges and Jimmy Daley loosing 12-22 to Timmy Yell.
Nos 7s lost to Peak Hill 0-10 Tony Latter lost 10-28 to Jim Stanford, Wally Grant lost to Gary Stanford 14-19 and Terry Hetherington lost to Ronnie Davis 19-27.

Ladies Bowls
We had a happy group of bowlers who thoroughly enjoyed games of ‘turn around’ triples, topped off with the celebration of Shrove Tuesday.
A very generous member shared pancakes, jam and cream with the ladies after bowls finished, thank you Betsy.
Kim Evans, Kate Keogh and Minnie Riordan had a see=saw match against Di Howell, Christine Cox and Joan Simpson, with much laughter happening, and resulting in a draw.
Brenda Davies, Chris Curteis and June Burgess came out winners in a hard fought match against Robyn Morgan, Maureen Baillee and Carol Reid.
Dianne Greenhalgh, Lorraine Baker and Jan McPhee had a convincing win against Kay Craft, Marja Iffland and Merilyn Rodgers, the score not indicative of the enjoyment of all the players. Kay Craft displaying a special talent for number of touches of the jack!
Winners on the day were Brenda, June and Chris.
The CWD Singles Championship is being played in Cowra on March 11-13, with five of our Club Members playing, ‘good bowling girls’.
Five of our members have also agreed to mark matches.
The Final of our Club Championship Singles to be played between Cherie Frame and Maree Grant, will be played on 19th March. It will be a great game to watch.
Club Championship Pairs and CWD Pairs nominations are open so please put on board.

Education saves a lot of tears!
Our avid readers of this column are just about over reading about our salivating Captain Chop with his Cranky Pants on being runner up again.
Winner on the day was poor little Sue Smith playing the game of her life accumulating 47 Points.
Runner up was Robert Rea (Again) but, loving every minute of extracting 12 Shots off Sue's Handicap with Reg Davison winning third place.
Ladies Nearest the Pins Winner was Lyn Davison winning both the fourth and 11th Awards.
Men's Nearest the Pin Winners fourth Rodney Luyt and 11th Robert Rea with a Birdie.
Lucky Card Draw won by Rodney Luyt.
Bunny Award went to Phil Bishop who did save me a lot of embarresment.
Raffle Winner was Ross Smith (nice draw Chris) with Golf Balls going to Ray Cabban and Robert Rea (2).
Next Week we play a Teams Event with Richard Wells and Phil Smith supplying the Trophies with Robert Rea Supplying the Raffle.

Parkes SSAA Smallbore
Last weekend saw 11 shooters attend the Deep Lead shoot at ordinary targets at both 25 and 50 meter for a maximum of 500 points.
It was shot under near perfect conditions with very little wind.

Three shots for practice only to make up their four shoots before March 31, the end of the reporting period.
Our next shoot is at 1pm Sunday, March 10.
That only leaves three more for the end of the month. We do have a shoot at Sporting Clays on March 16 and we shoot every Sunday at Eugowra range at 10am for centre fire and rimfire.

Tones of Fun on the Run
Parkes Squash Centre hosted a colour run fundraiser for the House With No Steps, a local children's disability provider, on March 1 at Pioneer Oval.
