In a very close fought battle, Parkes held the upper hand for most of the match.
Peter Bristol started strongly and held his lead all day to win 4 and 3, while Mick Smith won a close match 2 and 1.
Kyle Hutchings sealed the win for Parkes, again in a tight fought match, 1up.
Hutchings has made a fine start to his pennants career, winning both his matches so far.
Richard Hutchison and Jarrod Kemp both lost narrowly, 2 and 1, and 1 down respectively.
Kemp's result was even more impressive as he was a late call up and played in the No 1 spot.
After narrowly losing 3-2 in extra holes last week, Division 4 suffered another agonising loss to Ex-Services 3-2.
Victor Gaidzionis (3 and 2) and Finne Latu (2 and 1) were the winners while Brett Cowling, Mick DellaCa and David Harwood competed well.
