Utility parked behind Parkes business destroyed by fire

Emergency services were called to a vehicle fire at the rear of a Clarinda Street business at 5.20am on Monday morning.

Parkes Fire and Rescue NSW crew members extinguished the blaze quickly. 

A vechicle parked nearby sustained minor damage to a plastic bullbar. 

The vehicle was destroyed by the fire which is thought to have started under the bonnet and then moved to the cabin.

Two wheelie bins were destroyed by fire in Parkes Street overnight on Tuesday. 

The resident discovered the burnt bins at 8am on Wednesday morning.

The residents of a Seaborn Street property have been issued with a 28-day noise abatement direction. 

Police received reports of loud revving of motorcycles and cars, loud music and yelling and screaming at all times of the day and night.

A steel bench on the corner of Brolgan Road and Middleton Street was maliciously damaged overnight on Tuesday.

The damage is estimated at $500.
