The proposed coach services would enable day return travel between cities and towns in the Central West, with stops at towns in between.
An announcement by TrainLink states that the services would provide better connection for regional communities.
“Services will run at times that allow customers to connect with existing timetabled train and coach services and make a return journey on the same day,” it stated.
“This will provide customers in the Central West with more connections and more choice when travelling in the region.”
Services will be offered along three major routes:
- Bathurst – Orange – Dubbo
- Dubbo – Parkes
- Dubbo – Orange
A series of community information sessions kicked off on Tuesday in to gain feedback from people in the region on the proposed routes.
To help plan this service, interested member of the community are encouraged to complete an online community engagement survey or attend an information stall near you.
