Students were excited to have their families come along to open classroom sessions, where they were able to view students art, science projects and book work. 2CR also proudly displayed their amazing 3D robots they had built in the playground.
The library had a great display of new books available for students to purchase and donate to the school, with a donation certificate that was placed in the front of each book to acknowledge the students generosity.

Students who donated a book were then given the first opportunity to borrow the book get busy reading.
Parents shared a lovely picnic lunch with their children and played ball games on the oval, before a celebratory cake was cut by the school’s Principal, Mr Paul Gray. The captains and vice captains shared the cake with students, who were hoping for a piece with the coveted blue icing.
