Show society secretary Cathy Goodwin said the highlight of the evening was of course the unveiling of the 2018 Miss Showgirl and Teenage Showgirl for 2018.
“After a few words from President Benjamin Stanford and Showgirl Coordinator Tanya Stanford, 2017 Showgirl Heidi Stone gave us an insight into her year as Peak Hill Showgirl,” Ms Goodwin said.
“Heidi then introduced 2018 Showgirl, Erin O’Leary and 2018 Teenage Showgirl, Becky Wright.
“Heidi put both entrants on the spot with a question, something Heidi experienced at the Zone finals, which they both answered admirably.”
Ms Goodwin said the Peak Hill Show Society congratulates and thanks Heidi during preparations for the 2018 show.
“Congratulations are in order for Erin and Becky and we look forward to their participation in the 2018 Peak Hill Show and beyond,” she said.
Entertainment during the evening was provided by Isaac Compton and cateringr by Peak Hill Central School’s Catherine Doyle and her amazing team.
