Netball News
This Saturday is crazy sock and hair day. Parkes netball is asking all players, umpires, coaches and support crews and fans go bonkers with bouffants and silly with socks to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research. The annual "Crazy Hair and Sock Day" is a fundraiser that encourages netballers of all ages to dress up and give a gold coin for the privilege. Last year the event made more than $50,000 across NSW with all proceeds going to The Kids Cancer Project. This year, we are hoping that Parkes Netball Association can contribute to this year's target of $60,000.
