The students will appear in one of a series of four concerts.
The Opera House concert is part of the 2017 Festival of Choral Music which is managed by The Arts Unit of the NSW Department of Education.
The Parkes Public School choir successfully auditioned for this event at the end of 2016.
They have been diligently practising at lunchtimes and before school to learn a repertoire which is specially composed and arranged, to sing as part of the combined choir with other students and their teachers.
During the year the conductor for the concert Mr John Benson visited Parkes Public School to assist the students with their musical training.
Students and their teachers are looking forward to this event.
