The first two new members were inducted on Anzac Day during the sub-branch luncheon at the Parkes Services Club.
Reverend Ron Spindler has been welcomed as the sub-branch’s chaplain, replacing Reverend Brett Watterson.
Returned servicewoman Mollie Riach was also inducted on Anzac Day, with Rosedurnate Retirement Village chaplain Rosemary Richardson accepting her membership certificate on her behalf.
On July 20 Tim Lasserre, and Chris and Roslyn Taylor was inducted during a sub-branch meeting at the services club.
“We’ve had a real good increase in membership in the last 12 months,” sub-branch secretary Paul Thomas said.
“Our membership has increased by 20 per cent – last year we had 51 members, so far this year we have 67 members.
“It’s the biggest we’ve had in quite a while.”
