Thieves target homes and vehicles

A yellow Kincrome tool bag containing $4000 worth of assorted tools was stolen from the back of a utility parked in William Street between 8.30pm on Friday and 8.30am on Saturday.

A black and grey Adidas brand bag containing a wedding ring and sporting equipment was stolen from the back of a utility parked in Clarinda Street between 4pm and 5.30pm on Saturday.

A residence in Cecile Street was broken into between 3.30pm and 7pm on Sunday. 

The owner returned home to find one of the bedrooms ransacked. 

An iPad, laptop, cash, TV, modem and alcohol were stolen.

Unknown offenders gained entry through a rear window to a vehicle parked in Close Street between 3pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday. 

A backpack, lunchbox, iPad and charger were stolen from the car. 

The items were later found lying on the road nearby, however the iPad had been smashed.

A house in William Street was broken into between 3pm on Monday, June 12 and 12pm on Sunday June 18. 

The premises had been vacant with minimal property inside. 

Unknown offenders entered through a window and stole a Stihl chainsaw valued at $250.
