Steele Shore headed to Parkes from Townsville, where he became joint winner of the Saddle Bronc event.
There was also a number of competitors from Wagga, Dubbo, Forbes, Goulburn and the South Coast.
There was plenty of action held over the three hours at the Parkes Showground, which saw 96 competitors compete in front of a crowd of 2200 people.
Nothing but praise for the successful and entertaining event has reached the streets of Parkes, particularly coming from Parkes Rotary Club members.
Parkes Rotary said it was non-stop for them as they ran their barbecue on the night.
Two members also manned the gate takings on the night.
