This record result can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of the team of 24 staff who have been working together to kick major goals this year despite COVID-19 interruptions.
In August, it was announced the state would implement regional lockdown and strict rules for the real estate industry that ultimately impacted the way the team had operated up until this point, for example open homes and in-room auctions could no longer go ahead.
However, since the first lock down in 2020, Ray White has adapted and implemented the use of online auction platforms, and the sales team have been able to keep momentum going by conducting 1:1 inspections, video walkthroughs and virtual 3D inspections.
Despite the lockdown, there was still plenty to celebrate. This month the sales team have been recognised for their individual contributions in the national Ray White network of over 100 offices.
Rural property and water sales specialist Kim Watts has secured several large-scale water and property deals in order to reach 'Chairman's Elite Agent' status - which recognises agents who are ranked in the top 1 per cent of the Ray White Rural network, with an excess of $54 million in sales for the year.
In Forbes, Brendon Allegri has been recognised as an 'Alan White Elite Performer', which recognises agents that exceed $500,000 in settled commission or for selling 65 more properties in the 2020/2021 financial year.
In Parkes, our selling agents Kay Newbigging and Tania Cole reached 'Premier Performer' status, commending agents that achieved either $300,000 in settled commission or 30+ settled sales with a minimum of $200,000 in settled commission in the 2020/2021 financial year.
Nick Kelly has hit the ground running: mastering the online sales process and maintaining a 100 per cent auction clearance rate.
His most notable auction this month was 20 Caswell Street in Peak Hill, which sold for 73 per cent above the vendor's reserve.
In Condobolin, residential specialist Naomi Worland has continued to list and sell, maintaining the same consistency we saw in July and Paddy Ward is also on the trajectory of reaching '20/21 Premier Performer' - placing him amongst some of the top performing real estate agents in the industry.
It is likely Paddy will be recognised at the Ray White awards night expected to go ahead in Brisbane this September, so watch this space!
Market conditions remain strong as we enter the Spring selling season, and we expect an increase in properties coming to the market as restrictions ease, however it is likely that sellers will continue to move towards online auctions and virtual inspections.
With auction properties in the pipeline for September and October already, Ray White implores anyone that is looking to buy or sell to make contact with the award winning team on (02) 6862 1900.
