Digger Anderson, who helped organise the event, was exuding happiness when he explained how well the weekend went.
"Everything about the day was just spectacular, the whole spirit of the day was amazing," said Digger.
"People came from all over NSW, Queensland and Victoria and they were all commentating on how amazing the area looked, how well everything was organised and how much fun they had.
"I couldn't thank the visitors enough, they came from so far away, and camaraderie of the day was fantastic - you could tell everyone was happy to be out and about at something."
880 adults went through the gates on Saturday, and given children under 18 didn't have to pay it is safe to say there were over 1000 people in attendance - and fortunately the sun was shining brightly, unlike elsewhere in NSW - and Digger was extremely thankful for the good fortune.
"We just got in the last tractor pull as the rain began, so the only thing that changed was presenting all the awards under cover - it was perfect timing really!"
He was also very impressed with the amazing work of all the volunteers who helped out before, during and after the event.
"I just can't get over how quickly the volunteers cleaned up and got everything done, they returned the whole showground back to normal within an hour, and it was like no one had ever been there.
"It wasn't just Trundle Show Society volunteers either, plenty of townspeople got stuck into the cleanup and I can't thank them enough," said Digger.
There were 77 participants in the tractor pull, with 18 different categories according to horsepower (HP).
Ken Whitby won the feature event, the Fordson pull, while Bruce Fallon won the Best Restored Tractor with his Chamberlain 9G.
Digger was also pleased members of the Central West Car Club were able to attend and show some of their amazing classic cars.
"The Central West Car Club came in huge numbers on Sunday, and they added an extra dimension to the day - they parked right near the tractor pull so people were able to immerse themselves in both."
