Championship news
In mixed pairs on Tuesday morning Cherie and Brett (Baldy) Frame were way too good when they came up against the pairing of Lea Orr and George Boatswain.
On Sunday morning Heather Harvey and Gary McPhee combined well to record a four-shot win over Elaine Miller and Steve Turner.
On the 18th end team McPhee were cruising along at 21 shots to team Turners' 12.
Team Turner put in a late spurt to make the score respectable at 21-15 on the 20th but it was all too late at this stage.
All players who have games that must be played are requested to arrange for the playing of these games ASAP as presentation night is coming up.
The match committee informs me that those who have not made a serious attempt, to arrange their games or they will be forfeited.

VETERANS GOLF
Parkes golfers Joe Davies and Rob Lea were among the standout performers at the final Lachlan Valley Veterans 18-hole event for 2020, played at West Wyalong last week.
