About 12pm on Tuesday, May 12, detectives from the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad attended a home at Condobolin to speak with the occupants in relation to an unrelated matter.
A 41-year-old woman allegedly became verbally abusive toward police before throwing a large porcelain dog statue in the direction of a female detective senior constable.
When a 67-year-old female relative attempted to intervene and assist police, the younger woman allegedly punched her in the stomach.
Following a brief struggle, the younger woman was arrested and taken to Condobolin Police Station, where she allegedly scratched a male detective senior constable.
