The event, organised by the Forbes Running and Tri Club, will see runners from around the region descend on Forbes for the Festival on Sunday, October 13.
There's a run to suit everyone in the annual event from the kids, the enthusiast and the serious runner with three distances on offer.
Runners can sign up for a 5km run, 10km run or the more challenging 21km half marathon.
Forbes Crocs Running and Tri Club's Ian Bown said they have received a good amount of registrations across the three distance events.
Organisers are only accepting online registrations for the 21km half marathon and are encouraging people to pre-register for the other distances. Registrations close midnight on Saturday, October 12.
To register for the event go online to www.forbesrunningandtriclub.com/
Mr Bown said they are expecting good numbers but he is encouraging more locals to sign up for one of the runs.
Participants can register individually, however in the 5km event families can register together.
All ages can take part in any of the runs and there are prize divisions for juniors and adults.
The start and finish line is located at the ski dam and all three distance events will take runners around Lake Forbes.
The event begins bright and early with the 21km half marathon commencing at 7am. The 10km run commences at 8.30am, while the 5km begins at 8.45am.
All participants are advised to arrive well before the scheduled time of their run.
Organisers are also looking for volunteer course marshals to help the event run smoother.
If you would like to volunteer contact Ian Bown on 0419 436 693.
Mr Bown said they would like to thank the sponsors that help support the event.
