Blayney got the spot to contest the finals with a higher score percentage at season end.
We wish them the best as they challenge the final series.
2019 was a building year for the club with a considerable number of senior players retiring at the end of the 2018 season.
Bolstered by colts players moving into the senior ranks, new club members moving to Parkes with the infrastructure growth happening in the region and the growth of the sub junior ranks, the club continues to provide a family friendly sporting and social club in Parkes.
Our sub junior gala day held in Parkes in June was a spectacular display of what our game has to offer in the future.
The relationship between the club levels has been enhanced with the sub juniors invited to senior events and escort the players to the field.
More work is being done behind the scene to grow this relationship with planning of events for 2020 well under way.
As always the Rugby Club is keen to engage any new town members who have an interest in rugby to come along to our events and see what we are about.
Kevin Oliver our club president can be contacted on 0427 626 134.
To wrap the year the Club will be hosting the annual presentation evening on Saturday, September 7 at the Coachman Hotel.
An afternoon and evening of celebration to be shared with the whole rugby community.
Sub juniors kick off at 4:30pm followed by the Seniors at 6:00pm.
The AGM will be held on Wednesday, September 11, at the Coachman Hotel commencing at 7:00pm.
