To mark the occasion, students and staff dressed as 100-year-olds for the day and didn't they just look great.
Wearing wigs, hats, glasses, ties, cardigans, suspenders and hair rollers - the kindergarten students certainly dressed to the occasion and in fitting style.
Many brought with them walking sticks and wore slippers, while others even went as far as using silver hair spray to change their hair colour.
Here are some of the fun scenes from the day.
On the same day, the rest of the school celebrated the Apollo 11 moon landing 50th anniversary, which was taking place when the children would be on school holidays (July 20-21).
So Parkes East Public choose to take part in the celebrations a littler earlier by having a space-themed mufti day, so they wouldn't miss out.
