Going up against Bathurst, their Pool B runners-up and a side they beat at Forbes in the round matches, Parkes were determined not to come home empty handed.
They played with strong resolve to claim a 3 - 2 victory in a tightly contested affair.
It did not get off to a great start as Luke Clarke could not quite overcome the consistency of his Bathurst counterpart, going down 4 and 2.
The No 4 position also went Bathurst's way with Brendan Chambers losing 1 down.
The No 3 match had already been secured though with Tim Burke returning to form and winning 4 and 3.
John Green continued his good run of results, winning his match 2 and 1.
In the final match, Joe van Opynen held his nerve to claim a 1 up victory and secure the pennant for Parkes.
