Three men have been refused bail after an attempted armed robbery at a residence in Miller Street, Parkes, on Saturday afternoon.

Police were called to the premises after the men, one who was armed with a tyre iron and another with an axe handle, pulled up and demanded money from the occupant.
The victim retreated to the house and locked the door.
The men then smashed a window before leaving the scene.
The offenders were identified and later arrested in Forbes.
Brenden Gorman (20) from Blackbutt, and Harley (20) and Ian Rodgers (45) both from Forbes were all charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon and refused police bail.
They appeared in Orange Local Court on Sunday where they were further refused bail to appear in Dubbo Local Court on Monday.

A 24-year-old Parkes man will face court after driving while disqualified on Sunday night.
Police stopped the driver of a Hyundai sedan in Bushman Street at 9.45pm for the purpose of a random breath test.
Checks revealed the driver was disqualified from holding a licence. He will appear in Parkes Local Court on Monday, March 4.
