Police are investigating a number of assaults after an incident in Cooke Park last Friday night involving a group of teenage girls.

Officers were called to the park at 8.15pm.
Initial investigations suggest a number of young females confronted each other and a clash ensued.
Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Parkes Police on 6862 9999.

A Sidchrome brand bag of tools, valued at $3000, was stolen from a work site in Rose Street on Tuesday.
Unknown persons removed the bag of tools sometime between 12.30pm and 1pm.

500 litres of diesel was stolen from a property on the Henry Parkes Way between 9pm and 9.30pm on Monday.
The fuel was siphoned out of a truck.
A red utility, possible a Toyota Hilux, was seen leaving the property.
