TBTD is host to Australia’s National Bush Cook Championships which showcase some of Aussies best bush cooks.
This year will be the 32nd annual event and the TBTD committee are hard at work to make this year bigger and better than ever.
The ever popular bush tucker cooking competitions, camp oven cooking demos with Ranger Nick, junior bush chef cooking competition and free bush tucker taste testing will once again feature during the day at the Trundle Showground.
There will be live entertainment on the main stage throughout the day and evening including Jess Holland & 35%, Em & Gerry, Sophie Edwards, Trundle Central School Band and St Patrick’s School students.
A Kid’s Corner full of lots of fun activities is where Ranger Nick will host a free kids damper making class.
A jumping castle and gold panning will also help to keep the little ones entertained for hours.
Whip cracker and sheep shearing demos are always a favorite as are the dog jumping competition, bushman’s relay and billy boiling race.
Market and food stalls will be available so there really is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
