Well known for his play with ball in hand on a footy field, Chad Porter showed his skill with a golf club by claiming Round 4 of the BWR Accounting Summer Competition at Parkes Golf Club last Saturday.

In an 18 hole Par event with a very strong 96 starters, Porter finished on an amazing +9, one in front of Luke Clarke, who has hit some good form.
Three shots further back were a group on +5, while vouchers went down to +3.
In the nearest the pins, Robert Cheney hit a good shot to the Idlerite-Tyrepower 1st hole, putting for birdie from only 193cm.
On the Griffins Leading Edge 4th hole, Ian Hendry hit a good shot to 192cm.
Visitor Bill Masters finished closest on the Dirt Doctor Landscaping 6th hole, putting from a close 107cm.
Peter Picker finished closest on the Harvey Norman 11th hole, claiming both the nearest the pin and the money hole award with his tee shot to 181cm.
Michael Lynch hit his tee shot on the Westlime 15th hole to 466cm to claim the award.
Bill Masters enjoyed a solid day, also claiming the award on the Parkes Readymixed Concrete 9th hole at 231cm.
Mick Smith had a good look at birdie on the Central West Glass 18th hole, putting from 89cm.
