Secretary Carolyn Watt said Trundle experienced four seasons in one day on Wednesday morning.
“It was shocking – raining and windy, but the sun eventually came out and it ended well,” she said.
“Our gate takings were up and our overall entries were similar to last year.”
Carolyn reported the Merino entries were down but there were record entries in the British Breeds.
“Horticulture was down due to the frosts,” she said.
“The cattle section was good and we hosted schools from Trangie, Tullamore and Condobolin.
“The working dogs and show dogs also saw a great rollup.
Carolyn said the resurrected welding section was very successful and there are plans to expand it next year.
“Overall, we are really quite pleased with how well everything went.”
