Footy News
Last Saturday we held our annual home game in Tullamore with a triple header against Condobolin. The crowd was huge and so were the results. We won all three grades which was exciting, especially for the Trundle Sunflowers League Tag team as it was their first win against Condobolin ever.

It was a happy sad day as we showed our respects to the Taylor family. Past Youth Boomer, Jaxon Taylor took his own life last week which shocked his family, friends and the Parkes/Trundle community. He is the little brother to popular Boomer, Linc Taylor who played an outstanding game of football in such sad circumstances. All three grades participated in the minutes silence on the field as his parents let go of yellow balloons. Players wore yellow arm bands to gain awareness for suicide prevention. It is times like this when you realise how close our football community is and how well we come together in sad times. This weekend will be the biggest weekend Trundle Football has had for years with past Premiership winning grades having a reunion day. Players from 1972, 82 and 92 will get to catch up and reminisce about their football days. Past and current supports, sponsors and players are also invited to attend. For the reunion on Saturday, July 22 there will be a breakfast in the park starting at 8.30am. This will be followed by a Triple Header. Trundle versus Eugowra, 12.20pm Youth League. 1.40pm League Tag and 3pm First Grade.
