Are you on a small landholding and interested in finding out more about your roles and responsibilities and how to manage and make the most out of your land? Do you have a weed that you just can’t identify?
Central West Local Land Services are partnering with Forbes Shire Council, Central West Lachlan Landcare, NSW Police, NSW Rural Fire Service and SafeWork NSW to run a FREE practical workshop with focussing on small landholdings on Saturday, May 27.
Bring along those weeds in a sealed plastic bag and pack your notebook and pen. The workshop aims to address those burning questions that you might have. Presenters from local organisations will be sharing information about Property Identification Codes (PIC), how are Travelling Stock Reserves (TSR) utilised, stock tags, pest animals, weed control, worms, fencing, security and surveillance and much more information. I’ll be there to talk about Landcare and how you can be involved.
The workshop will be held at Forbes Youth and Community Centre in Grenfell Street, Forbes between 9am and 1pm, with morning tea. Call Chris Robinson on 0447 636 129 or email chris.robinson@lls.nsw.gov.au
