Pinnacle Films in partnership with Forbes Shire Council is excited to announce that the world premiere of THE LEGEND OF BEN HALL will take place on November 12 at the Forbes Showground. Director Matthew Holmes (Twin Rivers) and actors Jack Martin (in his feature film debut), Jamie Coffa (TV’s Gallipoli, The Lucifer King) and William Lee (in his feature film debut) will be in attendance.
Forbes will be the first stop in an extensive regional promotional tour for the film which will see the cast and crew travel through regional New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Director Matthew Holmes said “It is a privilege to be able to hold the world premiere of ‘The Legend of Ben Hall’ in Forbes. Forbes is the heart of Ben Hall country and its rich colonial history - along with all the surrounding districts and towns - makes it the perfect place to launch the film.”
Forbes Mayor Graeme Miller said the town was extremely pleased to host the world premiere.
“Council has supported the film from the beginning and I am delighted they are bringing it back to Forbes to give local residents the chance to see it first,” Mayor Miller said.
Shot in locations across regional New South Wales and Victoria, THE LEGEND OF BEN HALL is an action-packed epic telling the story of one of the most wanted men in Australian outlaw history. After years on the run in outback Australia, Ben Hall and his infamous band of outlaws decide to ride again in order to steal enough cash and gold so they can flee to America and greener pastures. The reunited gang prove unstoppable until one fateful day, where things go wrong. Ben and his gang must now fight to the bitter end.
VIP tickets are $40 (over 18 only) and include entry to the premiere, a photo opportunity on the red carpet, exclusive access to the VIP area to mingle with members of the cast and crew, premium seating, 2 complimentary drinks and nibbles.
General admission tickets are $20 and $15 for concessions/children.
