Police witnessed the man behaving suspiciously in the car, and stopped him for a random breath test.
The man returned a positive sample and was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station.
The man’s blood analysis returned a reading of 0.069.
He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for Low Range PCA and will attend Forbes Local Court on August 7.

A fence was damaged in Brookview Street, Trundle, on Monday morning.
It appears a car failed to negotiate a turn at the intersection of Brookview and Parkes Streets, damaging a timber post and netting.
The driver left the scene without exchanging details.
It is believed the vehicle may have been red.

Entry was gained to a vacant property after the lock on the door was broken.

A motor vehicle parked in the rear lane of a Clarinda Street residence was broken into between 7pm on Sunday and 10am on Monday.
Offenders forced the window open and stole a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone and 300 CDs.
Fingerprint officers will examine the vehicle for evidence.
