Tuesday morning saw the opening of a walk-in clinic offered by Western NSW Local Health District with the support of the Australian Defence Forces.
The queue of vehicles stretched from Northparkes Oval down Wentworth Street, along Currajong Street and out to Bushman's Dam.
By the end of Wednesday afternoon, a total 850 people had received a jab through the walk-in clinic alone, with one full day to go on Thursday.
The numbers brought a smile to the face of Western Local Health District Chief Executive Scott McLachlan in his Thursday lunchtime update.
