In exciting news, Grazing Down the Lachlan 2021 has booked out with 700 tickets snapped up in a record 90 minutes on Thursday evening.
But chair of the committee of local volunteers, Wendy Muffett, also wants to make it very clear that COVID safety is at the forefront of their minds as the big weekend gets closer.
"It's just an amazing response, we are super grateful for the way people have supported us," Wendy said on Friday.
Every Grazing event to date has booked out, but the enthusiasm this year shows just how keen people are to get out and connect.
It's also an indication of the trust attendees have that the team who brought home Gold from the NSW Tourism Awards can navigate whatever the situation is at the time.
Grazing Down the Lachlan is on the calendar for Saturday September 18, with a program of events to bring in the visitors from Friday through to Sunday.
Planning is full steam ahead: with the team totally aware of the current COVID-19 situation and how quickly things can change.
"We are doing everything we can to run this event, we also want to keep people safe and the town comfortable," Wendy said.
"We have got all the data we need to ensure that anybody who shouldn't be here won't be here."

Friday night will see a new event on the shores of Lake Forbes - Sundowners - that's also a ticketed event with limited spaces still available at the time of writing.
And with incredible progress on the sculpture trail since Grazing 2019, visitors are being urged to hop on board the bus tours to see the installations from the goanna near Forbes to Heart of Country near Condobolin. Bookings: info@cenwestours.com.au or 0439 520 087.
