The draw was a bit harder this week with three of the tougher teams in the comp with the first of them being Cowra.
Parkes were competing for the ball but forgot to spread out in defence making it hard to tackle Cowra's bigger wider runners.
Towards half time they began to improve and a real competition started.
We went to the break two tries down after Kalvin Dargin scored three tries and Max MacGregor scored one.
Liam Strudwick did some good chasing keen to match or beat his top performance the week before.
In the second half the Boars picked up the pace and matched Cowra with Daisy Rice getting involved in the ruck chasing that loose ball.
Eamon Moody finished off a great whole of team try to open the Boars scoring.
Max scored another two and Kalvin another one with Cowra running in three that half.
Game two
The second game was against Canowindra who are one of the most physical sides.
With Max MacGregor directing the side and Eamon Moody directing the backs the Boars really impressed in this game achieving the two hardest things, cleaning out in the ruck to win ball and spreading out to make good tackles.
Milli Cox and Heath Rathbone really impressed in this game tackling and running straight with no fear.
Aaryab Gautum just continues to develop, impressing each week and showing his toughness.
The game was very evenly matched with the Boars getting within one try scoring six (Kalvin, Max and Eamon).
Game three
The third game was against a skilled Orange Emus side and the Boars continued to get better playing their best game of the year.
Harry Rowbotham worked very hard in this game impressing with how much ball he secured.
Jaylen Richardson played very well with many strong runs and great support play turning up when needed.
Ryker Moore proved valuable improving each week running through the opposition and getting involved cleaning out.
The Boars secured a hard earned victory scoring about six tries.
The highlight of the game was Milli Cox who after full time stole the ball, beat two players, ran two thirds of the field before beating two more to score. (Max 3, Kalvin, Heath and Milly)
