For the last 15 years the Ungers have cut their blooms to be made into bunches and sold for Mother's Day.
Marion said for the first 10 years the money raised from the sale of the flowers went to the Still Waters Christian Book Shop.
"In those days any money we raised went towards paying a manager at the shop," Marion said.
"When the shop closed we had to think of other ways to distribute the money so we gave half to the Church and half to the Chaplaincy Program at Parkes High School.
"This year the money will be donated to the Uniting Church's free Monthly Monday Meal."
Members of the Uniting Church will bundle the chrysanthemums into bunches and sell them at a stall in front of Discount Daves from 8.30pm on Friday, May 10.
"If anyone has any chrysanthemums they would like to donate, they can bring them along," Marion said.
The bunches will sell for $3 and $5.
