A great afternoon in balmy weather conditions was enjoyed by all members in attendance and the early caravaners arriving for the Elvis Festival.
A guest appearance by Stephen R. Cheney added to the line-up of artists which also included Alex Winnell of Cootamundra and Vick Walsh from Young.
Following on from our “Welcome to Elvis” Muster, we conducted another regular monthly muster on Sunday, January 22 at the Parkes Services Club, with Alex Winnell and Vicki Walsh as our guest artists.
It was much appreciated to have them travel back again from their respective homes of Cootamundra and Young.
Our next monthly muster is coming up this Sunday, February 19 at 1pm in the Starlight Lounge of the Parkes Services Club.
Garry Hemming a crowd favourite and great entertainer to dance to will be our featured artist.
From there our March Muster will see us busy over two days on the 18th and 19th when a coach-load of visitors from the South Coast Country Music will be in Parkes.
This also promises to be another fabulous weekend of entertainment starting at 3pm on Saturday, March 18 and concluding about 2.30pm on Sunday, March 19, with breaks only for meals and sleep.
The South Coast visitors have informed us that they will have at least 14 performers among them.
Make sure you add this date to your calendar.

Due to Easter falling in mid-April and so many other conflicting events and festivals, there will be no April monthly muster.
But we will be back with our Mother’s Day muster in May.
Out first street stall of the year falls on Friday, April 7.
Plans are well in hand for the October long weekend Talent Quest and Awards night and the Friday night concert.
There will be an added feature on the Sunday of the weekend being the 50 Years Reunion of this long-running event.
We are now looking for contacts for former committee members and contestants, bands, judges, comperes, guest artists, sponsors, audience, radio announcers, volunteers, fans or anyone else who had an interest in the successful running of this event over the last 50 years.
