Five eighth Jack Creith was the star for the Spacemen in an electric first half; scoring a hattrick and setting up tries for Wes Middleton and Brandon Paige as Parkes cruised to a 32-nil lead.
With halfback and captain Chad Porter out, more responsibility fell on Creith but for coach Brent Wood it was just a case of Creith doing what he does best.
"That's just Jack, he knew where to be and what to do," he said after the game.
The forwards were all over the Jets in that big first term, and for Wood that's what allowed the backs to flourish.
"Our forwards were awesome in the first half, and laid a really good platform - and that's what allowed Jack to do what he did.
"I thought (Brandon) Tago really lifted the intensity when he came on, and we defended really well in the first half in particular - that's where we won the game," Wood said.
The left edge in particular; with Creith, halfback Wes Middleton, Jordan Pope and Brandon Paige, tore the Jets defence to shreds in in the lead-up to halftime with some spectacular cutout passes and offloads.

32 points up at the break was a great effort, but the play from Parkes dropped off in the second half - and Wood was pretty succinct when asked whether he was happy.
"No. I was happy with the last five minutes, but in the first part of the second half we lost our way a bit and and ran out of patience in attack.
"The intensity has been there both second halves the past two weeks, but we've probably lacked a bit of polish," said Wood.
That being said, the Spacemen still managed to score three tries despite a penchant for going sideline to sideline a little too much.
The Jets finally got on the board with 18 minutes to go through prop Ryan Richardson after a spectacular 40-20, but unfortunately for them it was just too little, too late.
A 70 metre intercept from Benny Cokanasiga with just two minutes to play iced the game off nicely for Parkes, and Wood is looking forward to a couple of byes over the next fortnight to get the troops back together.
"We have the next two weeks off so that will allow us to bring back Chad and Sam and work on a bit of cohesion," Wood said.
All three other grades: tag, under 18's and reserves also managed to get the win.
