Otherwise known as the The Funky Crowd, initially just six women were having their heads shaved or hair coloured on April 10 at the Coachman Hotel for the cause.
But by the end of the night, four others wanted to show their support, bringing the final figure to 10 people.
Debbie Winter from Janice Cassidy Hair Salon and Matt Cyrus from Alpha Cuts kindly gave their time for the event, as did Parkes auctioneer Geoff Rice.
The Funky Crowd had a goal to raise $5000 for the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave but they ended up collecting $20,183.47.
The evening's raffles and auction helped to grow that figure.
Before the auction had even begun, the team was already $700 over their goal, something organiser and registered nurse Wendy Baigent was over the moon about.
She said the amount of people who turned out to support the night was amazing.
There were some very touching moments on the night too - brother Charlie Mahon (15) and two close friends Marshall Alexander (10) and Lachie Plunmer (14) to 12-year-old Bill Mahon, who had a brain tumour as a toddler, stepped up to shave their heads.
Charlie and Bill are the sons of acting Lachlan Health Service Manager Jenni Mahon who was one of the original six having her head shaved on the night.
She gave Bill the honour of starting her head shave on the night.
"Bill has been 10 years cancer-free," she said.
"He spent six months in Westmead Children's Hospital."
Helen Nash also donated her very long locks to be made into wigs for cancer patients.
