Work involves removing lane markings and replacing them with temporary markings reducing the northbound and southbound lane width to 3.2 metres through the work area.
The reduced lane widths will be in place from Wednesday, February 26 until June 2020, weather permitting.
For the safety of workers and motorists, a reduced speed limit between 40 km/h and 60 km/h will be in place during work hours and a reduced speed limit of 80 km/h will be in place after hours, which may affect travel times.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
