The Peak Hill Central School Year 10 student has cleaned up with two gold medals, a silver, a bronze and he was named in the 2019 School Merit Side.
Robinson and his pairs partner Jordan Thompson from Gulgong won gold in the State Junior 7-A-Side Championships at West Dubbo Bowling Club in August.
The pair then headed to Bateau Bay to represent Western Region in the NSW Combined High School Championships at Bateau Bay where they won silver.
It was back to Dubbo where Robinson - along with another junior, Cooper Dart from Tomingley - and the West Dubbo Men's Bowling Club operations manager Tim Farrell won the club's triples in August.
The following day he and Dart teamed up with Kerryanne Watson to win the NSW Central Schools Knockout.
Robinson's representative duties on the school stage didn't end there, with the 15-year-old bowling for the NSW CHS side last month at Tweed Heads.
He won gold in the triples and fours and his Five-A-Side team claimed bronze.
NSW retained the Australian Schools Super Series Shield.
James said he is looking forward to a break from competition.
"I've still got one club championship to play and that's it for the year," he said.
James said at this point in his career he doesn't have his sights set on any one thing in particular.
"I just like playing bowls," he said.
"And getting selected for stuff is just a bonus."
