Early last year, the teenager thought she would have to compete with the boys to ever have a chance at an international title.
But things have changed.
Ranked number one in NSW and number four in Australia after the National Championships in Brisbane in April, the sixteen-year-old has qualified to represent not only her country, but also her gender at the World Roller Games in Barcelona, Spain next month.
"This is the first year they've ever had a female world championship for scooter riding," Pascal said.
"It's quite a big deal to be a part of."
Pascal is one of four Australian female scooter riders to join more than 4000 athletes from 81 countries to participate in 11 different disciplines at the world's biggest roller sports event.
Of her first time competing overseas, Pascal said she is nervous but very excited.
"It's crazy, I am really happy that we finally got there," she said.
"We've been trying to push the girls getting to the worlds for a while now, so it's crazy that it's finally come."
Eleven world champions will be crowned at the games with the scooter debuting as the new World Skate discipline.
Pascal and her parents, Kristy and Colin, fly into Barcelona on Saturday, June 29.
"She is allowed one hour on the park on Thursday, July 4, for a practice and to get her run sorted," Kristy said.
"She competes in the semi finals on Friday, then the finals are on Sunday, July 8."
Pascal has been training in Sydney at Warehouse 11 Studio indoor skatepark for the last few weeks and is feeling confident.
"Pascal is more of a street rider than a park rider," Kristy said.
"But it is going to be an amazing experience and she'll be part of history being among the first females to compete at an international level."
Pascal has an instagram following of 12,000 and has connected with other riders from all over the world, some of which she will be able to meet in person at the games.
The competitions will be live streamed around the world on the World Roller Games 2019 website.
"We've watched it on the live stream for the last few years and it's very exciting to actually be a part of it," Kristy said.
"We have some great Aussie riders competing in both female and male competitions so it will be good to be there to see them on that world stage."
