The theft occurred between Wednesday, April 3 and Friday, April 5, when unknown offenders stole the diesel from a fuel pod on the back of a utility parked in Spicer Caravan Park.

A Dorset ewe in lamb was stolen from the Parkes High School Agricultural Plot in East Street sometime over the weekend.

Fields at McGlynn sporting complex were damaged overnight last Wednesday. Unknown offenders drove a vehicle onto the fields and did donuts causing damage to the playing surfaces.

Police are investigating an incident at Parkes East Public School where a 16-year-old boy was injured and taken to hospital. 

Officers were called to the school after witnesses saw people on the roof. 

On arrival police located the youth who had smashed the skylight in the library and seriously injured his foot. 

Inquiries are continuing.
