With his previously featured late model Holden Monaro and his Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle.
But he's equally recognisable when he's hitting the streets of Parkes on his vintage BSA motorcycle.
"It's a 1953 B31 BSA" Ricky said
"I've had it on the road for about 3 years now."
Ricky and his dad, Scott pieced the BSA together for the Parkes Antique Motorcycle Rally a few years back.
It's been going strong ever since then.
In some ways the BSA is a bit of a 'sleeper' albeit not the fastest thing on 2 wheels.
"We rebuilt the engine , brakes and wheels" said Ricky
"While we were at it we pepped it up with a bigger cam, high top pistons and bigger valves so for a 350 it goes as well as a stock 500 cc now."
The BSA is a 350 cc single cylinder engine with single carburettor , 4 speed and drum brakes front and rear.
Ricky told me that the plan when they rebuilt the bike was to keep it looking like it had literally been wheeled out of a farm shed untouched.
"It doesn't get washed or prettied up for shows and it still turns more heads at bike runs than Mum's fully restored B33" Ricky laughed.
Ricky rides the BSA regularly.
Indeed he can often be seen around town at a steady pace or on club outings.
In fact he admits that he enjoys riding it more than his Harley.
"It's just a fun bike to ride and touch wood it's been more reliable than the V-Rod" Ricky said.
"It starts well, runs well on premium fuel and stops well. What more could you ask for? "
The CWCC which was founded in the 1950's is open to members with vehicles of all sorts: cars, motorbikes, trucks and tractors and almost anything with wheels and some sort of drive.
