At the back of the shop is a bright, airy room, full of tables and chairs, away from the crowd, where you can enjoy a chat while drinking that cup of coffee and tucking into a cake or biscuit – or even a sandwich if you like.
The walls are adorned with loads of art from the students at the local school – take time while you are waiting for your drink to have a look around at some of the budding artists.
The art is changed twice a school term and you would be amazed at some of the talent that is around the area.
My friends and I gather there every couple of months to chat and we are always made to feel welcome whenever we go.
So don’t forget for that cup of coffee to go to the Trundle Food Store and sit and relax.
It is open seven days a week.

Betty Capell has been a patient in Forbes Hospital for the past few days with a chest infection.
Unfortunately this happened during the time that her great granddaughter, Amber, was visiting from Wollongong.
Amber has returned home and we hope that Betty will be soon back home too.

St Patrick’s
2019 Kindergarten Information Session.
We will hold an information session for the parents of 2019 Kindergarten students, in week two of term three.
It will be held Monday, July 30, at 2pm in the School Library.
All parents who have children commencing school in 2019 are welcome to attend and learn about our unique learning community.
Forbes Eisteddfod. Congratulations to our students for their performance at the Forbes Eisteddfod at the end of term two.
They received a Highly Commended in the section for a School Choir from a school of less then 100 students.
It was a wonderful experience to perform in the Eisteddfod and it was also a wonderful experience to see some of the other sections and just what talent and practice can achieve.
A big thank you to our School Leaders who were able to be there on the day: Maggie Anderson, Charlie Anderson, Blair MacDonald and Phoebe Wright.
Once again these students were excellent School leaders helping the staff and the younger students.
We are very grateful to Ms Gail Smith for giving this opportunity and preparing the students for their performance.
