​Thousands of people descended on town for the 25th Parkes Elvis Festival. Meet just some of them here and find out what they had to say.&nbsp;

Sahar Tavakoli and Chris Hesselbein from the USA are in the country visiting Sahar's parents in Sydney. "We scheduled our trip to be able to make it to Parkes. This is my second time - I was here in 2012," Sahar said. Photo by Barbara Watt. 

Jan and John Webb from Cohuna, Victoria were here for their first festival.

Snodge Cooksley, from Redcliffe Queensland, has been coming to the Parkes Elvis Festival for "quite a few years".
"Not 25, but as many as possible," she said.
"I just love it. I love Elvis.
"It's just a wonderful atmosphere and I love every minute of it!"

Joan Cuthel (Banora Point, NSW) and Maria Sganga (Wallan, Victoria) have been to about five festivals, and both have busking husbands.
Why do they keep coming back? "The friendship, the atmosphere - everyone's just so lovely!"
