Parkes Public School girls soccer team were crowned Western Region PSSA Champions after a hard fought 2-0 win over Bathurst Public School in the final.

The Parkes Public School girls travelled to Orange for the final, producing a fantastic game to win the title.
The team consisted of Cassandra Ward, Ashleigh Ward, Abbey Greenway, Kyah Turnbull, Ella Morrissey, Melanie Reeves, Makeely Van Dyk, Sharna Ross, Katie Dunford, Zoe Hall, Meika Lovett, Amber Herft, Annaliese Maier and Jessica Sellings.
The girls showed great team spirit and represented Parkes with pride.
The girls would like to give thanks to Victor Gaidzionis and Karyn Duffy for coaching them to the title and thank all of the parents who supported the team throughout the competition.
