The historic monument that honours those who lost their lives at war underwent a bit of a spruce up yesterday in readiness for the traditional service.
RSL sub branch members Terry Knowles, Arthur Parker, Alan Hourigan, Dave Barker, Roy Matthews, Senior Constable Daniel Greef, Keith Woodlands and Bob Brooke were there with brooms, mops and dusters to ensure all was in order.
Several hundred people are expected for the Dawn Service that commences at 5.30am.
