A group of around 50 local friends and family, including eleven of her grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, gathered in Grenfell last week to celebrate Glenys O'Connor's 80th birthday at the Rose Street Little Theatre.
The party goers had travelled from as far as Brisbane, the Northern Beaches, Griffith, and everywhere in between.
It was not your average 80 year old's birthday party, with Glenys and the young-at-heart group partying on well into the evening with music and plenty of food.
