The Parkes Shire has brought home national honours from the 2025 Australian Tidy Towns Sustainability Awards - one a category win.

The town's Raw Water Storage Lagoon won the Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation category at the awards that were held over the weekend in Beechworth, Victoria.
