The 2025 Parkes Fire Station Open Day was held on 26 May as the official date earlier in May saw the wedding of Parkes Captain Craig Gibson.

One of the many highlights during the day was a visit from Paw Patrol’s Marshall who was a hit with the kids.

Demonstrations included how to safely extinguish burning oil on a stove, putting out a fire in a window, sausage sizzle and a display of Phil Dix...
