Flock to Cowra in June for Sheep Muster

Central Tablelands Local Land Services is pleased to announce Sheep Muster 2025 - an unmissable opportunity for sheep producers.

Taking place in Cowra on Thursday 5 June, Sheep Muster is a free event that will focus on opportunities for improved performance and positioning production to meet demands driven by the consumer, with presentations highlighting the future industry and market direction.

The day will feature presentations from David Packer - M LA, Kristen Frost - AWi, and Gordon Refshauge - NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, will share his latest research on sheep reproduction.

A highlight of the day will be the producer panel, featuring voices from both meat and wool enterprises.

Senior Land Services Officer Peter Evans says local producers will be sharing how they're adapting their businesses to tackle current industry challenges.

"Sheep Muster is a unique chance to hear from like-minded producers, as well as gather ideas and identify strategies to maximise opportunities within your own business." Peter said.

"We'll also have a professional panel discussion on animal welfare, with a dedicated Q&A session.

"This discussion will provide a platform for addressing key issues and exploring best practices in animal welfare."

In addition to presentations and panels, Sheep Muster will feature a range of trade stands and plenty of opportunity to chat with industry specialists and innovative producers over morning tea and lunch.
